This version corrects that misjudgement:  it restores the %D format and
eliminates the %o instead.

in r17664 that changed the single letter option for --quiet from '-q' to
'-Q' for a bunch of commands to avoid a conflict with srun's '-q'
--quit-on-interrupt flag.
