Yes, I'd propose either the MIT or the 3-Clause BSD License.

Although I like the thoughts of the GPL-3.0. =)

I'd actually prefer a GPL based license.
liblouis is LGPL and SVG-Plott is GPL3 too. As for GUISVGPlott, there is no information in the repo.

Ok, as we are using some (minor) parts of SVG-Plott, aren't we forced to use GPLv3 as license core? That is the reason why I don't like GPLv2/v3 but that's just how it is I guess...

I guess so, even if the CsvParser code is heavily modified, it still origins from the SVGPlott code.

And that's what is fine about the GPL, you ensure open source stays open source.

If however we purged those specific code snippets, we could also use the other licenses.

I'm fine with it.
